Hello and Happy New Year to my Berry Financial Family! It’s Jana Mathews, daughter of Richard and Jan Berry, and wife of Reid, and I have the absolute honor of writing this article to you. I know 2021 had many challenges, but I hope it brought you growth. I hope it strengthened your faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. I hope it brought you closer to the ones you love most. I hope it gave you greater appreciation for things taken for granted on a daily basis. I know it surely did for me.
I may be a little biased, but 2021 was off the charts amazing because it brought me one of my greatest blessings, Janet Lee Mathews. As many of you know, Reid and I welcomed our little girl “Jaylee” April 3, 2021. Before I got pregnant with our miracle, I started becoming more conscious of the toxins, impurities, and chemicals to which we are exposed on a daily basis. While I know we cannot live in a bubble, I wanted to be proactive to control the things that I can. One of the areas on which I focused was the products I used on a daily basis regarding my skincare/makeup. I began using clean makeup and skincare from a company called Beautycounter whose mission is to get safer products into the hands of everyone. I have had so much fun as a stay-at-home mom learning and experimenting with skincare and makeup products that are clean, healthy, and good for everyone.
While my being a part of the Berry Financial Group Team is the priority for me after my family, I have enjoyed becoming a Beautycounter consultant. Please know that this is in no way a sales pitch because my main focus always has been and always will be carrying out the ministry that God ordained for Berry Financial Group to serve and help people. I do know that I have a passion for helping people live their best life in every way. Scripture tells us in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit.” WOW! Our bodies are the dwelling place or the home of part of the Trinity! That is a lot to take in and a lot of responsibility! People are living so much longer than ever before, and with that said, we have to take better care of ourselves. Our skin is an organ and needs to be protected just as much as our heart and lungs. As we begin a new year – 2022 – I know that God has amazing and wonderful things in store for us all. I am so excited to be able to host Berry Financial Group events and see you again soon.
